About Us

Formed in 1964, O'Connor and Co have been arranging insurances since that time for companies across the whole spectrum - from large corporations with significant premium expenditure through to SMEs and sole traders. Whatever your size, we pride ourselves on our personal and impartial service, and see ourselves as part of your team. Because we are not a national broker, we have the added advantage of being big enough to count, but small enough to care. In addition, unlike some brokers, we do not out-source the handling of claims - these will be dealt with in-house by our experienced claims handlers working in conjunction with the team who have intimate, day to day knowledge of your account.

Due to the circumspect way in which we have conducted ourselves over the years, we have forged very strong relationships with insurance companies, who are only too pleased to work closely with us to provide the right package at the right cost for our customers. Relationships like that are not formed overnight, and ultimately it is the customer who reaps the resultant rewards, perhaps by obtaining a cover through ourselves which other brokers have not been able to access.

For our own part, we work in dedicated teams sharing a vast wealth of experience, meaning that customers can rest assured that they can deal with us on a 'one stop' basis and build up a close rapport with those personnel assigned to their account. Our retention rates are very high, and a good deal of our business has come to us by recommendation from existing customers, some of whom are included in our Testimonials section.

No two companies' insurance requirements will replicate each other, despite the fact that prima facie they may appear similar - our first job is to talk to you and assess your needs.
