General Claims

In general, most of the procedure relating to claims notification will have been discussed between your company and our claims department. However; the following brief reminders may be of some assistance to you:

  1. Notify the Insurer or our claims technician or account executive as soon as you become aware of a claim or circumstances which could give rise to a claim under your insurance policy.
  2. Notify the Police or similar appropriate authority following break in, loss of stolen property, riot etc.
  3. NEVER admit liability or make an offer to make a payment to third parties for accidents.
  4. Pass on any third party communication to us and / or Insurer IMMEDIATELY and UNANSWERED.

If you are in any doubt about what to do, please telephone us as we are anxious to ensure that your claims are settled as quickly as possible and to your maximum benefit.

When making a claim, it is your duty to disclose all material facts to Insurers. Failure to disclose could prejudice your rights to recover the claim.
